The contribution to radiography research that companies make to be part of the industry partnership scheme is being held at the same amount for 2012 – the fourth year in succession.
However, companies joining the scheme from now on will have to pay more.
“The College of Radiographers covers all administration costs for CoRIPS, ensuring that all membership fees provided by industry are spent on research,” said Richard Evans, the College CEO.
“However, inflation is inevitably eating away at the research funds and we do need to increase the amount that new partners contribute to ensure that the level of research funding is maintained.”
