First of all, Happy New Year and thank you for your continuing support.
The annual CoRIPS seminar, to which all partners are invited, takes place at the Society’s headquarters from midday on Thursday, 19 January 2012.
Erika Denton, the national clinical lead for diagnostic imaging, will be speaking about clinical imaging policy and will be joined by Tim Cooper, associate director of radiotherapy at the National Cancer Action Team.
In addition, there will be three presentations from CoRIPS funded researchers who will be reporting back on their projects: analysing the introduction of new technologies within the hybrid imaging workforce; isotoxic radiotherapy planning for non-small cell lung cancer: is IMRT the answer?; and a comparison of ultrasound simulation training with clinical teaching for transvaginal ultrasound.
CoRIPS partners are invited to send one representative but it may be possible to accommodate more people if required. Please email Jane Treacy or call 020 7740 7216.
Partners are also invited to make a 15-minute presentation on any new developments that they would like to talk about. Contact Richard Evans by email.
